About Us

Butte America is home to one of the richest copper deposits ever mined. It has been hailed as “The Richest Hill on Earth.” It is estimated that the copper that has been mined from it would cover a four-lane highway four inches thick for four hundred miles.

Butte America is also the home of Copper Hill Designs. We pride ourselves on the rich heritage of the miners who paved the way for the industrial revolution as well as the electronic revolution that we are currently experiencing.

Meet the team

The CEO and founder of Copper Hill Designs is Dr. Bryce Hill. Dr. Hill is received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2011. Since that time he has labored as a professor of Electrical Engineering at Montana Tech. Born and Raised in Montana, he is the heart and soul of Copper Hill Designs.

Dr. Hill currently is named on three patents, and continues to write publications in areas of small scale aeronautics, battery diagnostics, medical device development, metal cast sensing, and grid frequency analysis. His most notable accomplishment is the construction, testing, and use of the Berkeley Pit Boat.
